Smilepod is a business concept that aimed to take the stress and difficulty out of finding and accessing professional dental treatment. The idea was to bring dental care to the high street, allowing customers to overcome fears and concerns and simply drop in to see the hygienist, in the same way they do with the hairdresser or optician.

Sixis Group Limited facilitated the purchase of ‘tooth place’ assets and formulated a team of business experts (Seed Capital Investors) who developed a concept to help grow and expand this promising company. Once this investment and structure was in place, Sixis took a back seat and watched on as the business flourished.

Phase 2 of this venture was to coordinate a second round of investment by introducing Beaubridge (UK) Ltd venture capital specialist, who assisted in the successful continuation and development of the business.

There are now 6 London outlets, with 4 more in the pipeline, waiting to be rolled out.
